Terms and Conditions of membership
Terms and Conditions for all members
Membership of Pensions UK is governed according to our
Membership and Subscriptions Rules
.
The membership period runs from 1 January to 31 December, and the first year’s subscription is calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Members who are admitted after 1 January in a year shall pay a subscription for that year pro-rata to their period of membership. Members who are admitted on or after 25 August in a year shall pay a pro-rata subscription for the remainder of that year and for the whole of the following year at the time of admission.
Subscription rates increase annually. Increases greater than inflation are subject to approval by members through consultation.
Subscriptions are payable annually by 1 January.
Subscriptions are non-refundable.
Subscription rates are exclusive of VAT which is payable at the prevailing rate.
Members may resign and terminate their membership by 30 November, otherwise they will continue to enjoy the benefits of being a member.
Intention of resignation needs to be in writing via email to
[email protected]
by the 30 November
If any events are booked at the discounted member rate, the membership subscription needs to be paid in full prior to the event. This is applicable to new members joining to attend an event and existing members who have been issued a renewal invoice. Failure to do so will result in the non-member rate being charged to attend.
Terms and conditions specific to Fund Membership, Local Government Membership and Master Trust Membership
Fund, Local Government and Master Trust members are strictly prohibited from using their membership for any commercial purposes.
Personnel found to be using Fund, Local Government or Master Trust Membership for commercial purposes will be refused entry to Pensions UK events and will be disbarred from membership and future events for such time as Pensions UK deems appropriate.
Any registration fee paid will be non-refundable.
Terms and conditions specific to Business Membership
Business membership is designed for suppliers to the pensions industry.
Terms and conditions specific to Business Member with Associated Master Trust Membership
Business Member with Associated Master Trust membership is for organisations where its business includes the provision of services, including an authorised master trust categorised as a ‘commercial master trust’.
We require that any individual attending a Pensions UK event or doing other activity with Pensions UK with a commercial objective belongs to an organisation with Business Membership and should pay for a delegate place. This means that delegates from Business Members with an Associated Master Trust will be expected to pay the Business Member rate for delegate places.
