By working with our members, here are some of our recent achievements:
- Lobbied successfully for a reduction in the PPF Levy, saving DB schemes an average of £9,000 each
- Secured government commitment to address the Virgin Media / NTL situation
- Driven UK investment through the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Pensions and Growth and Mansion House Accord – with all signatories now part of the Sterling 20
- Protected schemes from being drawn into paying Inheritance Tax
- Published the Small Pots Feasibility Review
- Ensured our members’ views were represented in tabled amendments to the Pension Schemes Bill.
