Hertfordshire Group

Pensions UK's North London Group has been renamed the Pensions UK's Hertfordshire Group with effect from 1 July 2025. Our aim at the Hertfordshire Group is to provide anyone involved in the pensions industry with a forum to discuss and debate topical pensions issues, to learn about new ideas or initiatives, and to network with other members.  

We are managed by a committee of volunteers and usually hold six business meetings during the year along with a special event such as a workshop.

All our evening business meetings take place in St Albans. Refer to the individual meeting flyers for venue details each time.  

Meetings qualify for Continued Professional Development.

Subscriptions

Individual and corporate membership is currently free.

Hertfordshire Group Meeting

Tuesday, 10 March | County Club, 29 Ridgmont Road, St Albans AL1 3AG
(The venue is very close to St Albans City station, and the station car park is an option if you are driving.)

Registration is from 4:30 pm,  Meetings starts at 5:00 

CDC – The future of UK Pensions?

The speakers for this event will be Gallagher’s Mark Williams and Andre Clarke. 
 
The presentation will include a beginner’s guide to CDC, the key features, merits and potential challenges of CDC relative to DB and DC schemes, and how the CDC market might evolve in the future.
