London Group

In June 2025 three local groups - Central London, South London and South East merged to form a single London local group. The new group continues to provide a varied and interesting programme of events, including educational and networking opportunities for all those involved in the provision of work place pensions. The group is aimed at members working or living in London and around.   

Meetings are usually held in a central London location, starting at 5:30pm. Most meetings have a presentation by one or more leading practitioners on a relevant topic, followed by a question and answer session after the presentation. Afterwards we enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to network and discuss matters of mutual interest in an informal atmosphere.   See below for upcoming events.

Setting the Pensions Landscape

Our London Group Chair, Kevin Clark will interview Karen Jochelson, Deputy Director, (Pensions Commissioner) about the current assessment of the state of Britain’s pensions landscape, including the progress made in the two decades since the first Pensions Commission. It draws together evidence of the challenges facing current and future pensioners which the current Pensions Commission will consider and make recommendations to address.

After the interview, our chair will discuss opportunities, challenges and progress on key themes including retirement incomes, adequacy, and diversity and inclusion in pensions with our expert panel drawn from across the pensions industry:
